Great stuff to listen to! I just sat for the oral/written exam for accreditation here in Toronto yesterday. Found it challenging and stressful – but an extremely worthy. venture. As was said in this podcast, it truly draws out what you know about every aspect of communications and it’s quite satisfying to realize just how much that is. I’ve been in the field for 20 years and only just decided to, finally, go for it. I’m hopeful I’ve been successful but, again as you say, it’s a process and one I’m proud to be a part of. And if I need to redo the oral or some of the questions to confirm my readiness, I’d be happy to do that and grateful for the chance. So, though I’m not yet accredited, I totally recommend going for your ABC!
