IABC’s Cafe2Go presents episode #5 of CW Radio, a monthly podcast featuring  interviews with  authors from IABC’s Communication World magazine and CW Bulletin e-newsletter. In this episode, Vice President of Publishing Natasha Nicholson interviews Daria Steigman, who writes about business, entrepreneurship and social media in her “Independent Thinking” column in CW Bulletin. Steigman talks about what she’s learned from 20 years as a solopreneur advising clients on business and communication strategy, and gives advice about what to consider before going out on your own.

    Good for your Daria….Great to hear you. Some real good information and insight. “Identifying the opportunities and making them happen” is probably the hardest thing that I’ve found. You really made me think about “the start:” Not only did I not have an email address, I remember reluctantly buying my first FAX machine. HA!” Now, I have up on jamesgangcreative.com under, Contact us, “Fax? Doesn’ any really do this anymore?” I don’t even know what I’d do if I had to setup the computer to get a fax these days.
