Scott Kronick, president of Ogilvy PR, Northern Asia, has more than 20 years of experience with the company. He brings PR experience in the U.S., Taiwan and China to his job, where he leads some 500 employees throughout the region. As one of the two founding members of Ogilvy PR in China, he continues to play an instrumental role in the leadership and management of the firm, one of the largest PR agencies operating in China.

Scott will present “Connecting in China” at IABC’s global conference set for April 7-9 in Hong Kong. In this interview, Scott talks about the differences between western PR and PR in China, and the state of Chinese public relations. He also talks about his upcoming session, exploring best practices for getting a communications job in China and exploding the biggest myth about how to succeed in China.
