CW Radio #30: Study points to new roles for communication professionals, an interview with Burghardt Tenderich, Ph.D.

The latest Communication and Public Relations Generally Accepted Practices (GAP) study from the University of Southern California, Annenberg, found that core responsibilities in communication and public relations are expanding with the wider adoption of social media and measurement. In this CW Radio interview, CW Executive Editor Natasha Nicholson talks with Burghardt Tenderich, Ph.D., associate professor at USC Annenberg’s School for Communication and Journalism, about what the findings of the GAP study mean for communication careers.

(IABC members can access Tenderich’s article on the GAP findings in the September-October issue of CW, as well as the full report on the GAP study, in IABC’s online library, Discovery.)
